Auto reload of forum pages -
TrendXplorer - 07-14-2012
Tired of hitting F5 about a million times a day? Don't want to miss any of Katzo's calls?
Firefox has this nice add-on, which will auto reload the active page/tab every X seconds (user definable):
https://addons.mozilla.org/nl/firefox/addon/reloadevery/
The add-on uses the context menu (menu you get when you right click on a web page) to activate or de-activate the auto refresh function with different time settings.
NB! When active, the auto reload can make your replybox go blank (over and over again)! Be advised to turn it off before typing your postings (by right clicking the page to open the context menu).

This was pretty good up until today. Now, when it reloads, it goes back up near the top of the page and I have to scroll back down to where it was before the reload. Used to just reload to the same point on the page, but with any new content added.
