The first thing to do, of course, is: Act surprised!
I have a pretty heavy spam fortress up around the boards, and apparently some people are unable to register because the board thinks they're spammers. Of course, all of these people claim total ignorance and innocence... as IF.
Anyway, if you're unable to register, and you've already met the criteria discussed in the "read this first" post -- then write a post over at PretzelCharts mentioning your conundrum, and I can create an account for you by hand and email you the details.
