The use of Plastics
#1

One bad thing about plastic.....

Before I saw that video, I have removed as much plastic as I can from my kitchen and replaced with glass or stainless steel. There is still so much more around the home, had no idea really of how much plastic we live around till I started to look. So as time goes on I will remove more and more as new alternatives come up.

Why did I start this you ask. I watched a documentary on Netflix a few months ago and it got me into reading on the web. We are so wrapped up in plastic I dont see it ever going away. The best I can do is to limit it's use. It come with everything we buy either being packaged in it or made out of it.

BPA is not the only chemical with Estrogenic Activity - bpa free does not mean safe - most plastics leach hormone disrupting chemicals.

Here are two links that describe the types of plastics and EA that they may leach and the exposure to workers around them. They were interesting reads. The first one is a quick reference to the types of plastics, the second gets into the EA stuff without needing to read the entire Texas study below.

This is the link to the Texas University study from the link in the article on the second web site above.
It is a Government site US National Library of Medicine, National Institutes of Health.

Oh Father, give me grace to forgive them, cause I feel like the one losing.
